ABOUT REDISCOVERED MOVIES PODCAST

For a while, Nomfanelo wanted to talk about movies because she regularly goes to the cinema with friends, family members or by herself to watch films on the big screen. Her love for movies paved the way to become a writer, director, producer and occasional actor in the field. With that in mind, Nomfanelo was interested in making a podcast about movies, which lead to Rediscovered Movies. The idea for the podcast started in 2020 during the pandemic and was further developed until its launch on September 20, 2021 via Spotify for Creators worldwide. Nomfanelo chose to focus on overlooked movies to bring more awareness of those titles and to discuss alternatives to modern popular mainstream films.
